Salted Caramel Protein Balls

These delicious, versatile protein balls are loaded with (you guessed it) protein and healthy fats, to keep you satisfied between meals. They are an excellent source of amino acids, for protein synthesis and post workout recovery, and fats and vitamins to help lower cholesterol and improve cardiovascular health.

Makes around 15 balls depending on how big/small you roll them

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups nuts (almonds, cashews, hazelnuts, any you like!)
  • 10 Medjool dates (if not Medjool dates, soak them until soft in warm water)
  • ½ cup shredded coconut
  • 5 tbsp coconut oil (liquid)
  • ¼-1/2 cup protein powder (vanilla, but any flavour will work and give a different taste)
  • 2 tbsp. honey
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt

Directions:

  1. Blend all ingredients in a food processor until combined
  2. Roll into balls and store in fridge
